About us

We know the technology, and how monasteries really run

Elunor Technology is a technology company registered in Nepal, headquartered in Kathmandu. We help monasteries, Dharma centers and lineage communities use technology to realize what they have in mind, starting with Tibetan Buddhism.

How we work

Monasteries trust us with their texts, lineage and teachings. These are the three rules we follow.

Real sources, always cited

Texts, lineage histories and background on the site are sourced, and published only after the monastery provides or approves them.

The content stays the monastery's

The monastery can edit or remove anything at any time. Domains, accounts and data are registered in the monastery's name.

AI drafts, people review

A model produces the first draft of every transcript and translation, then a Buddhist-studies editor checks it passage by passage against a dedicated term glossary. It is never raw machine translation.
